THE FUTURE OF BATTERIES RESEARCHModerator: Mojca Černelč Koprivnikar, Ljubljana, Slovenia / Batteries, as one of the most versatile energy storage technologies, are key enablers for the decarbonisation of the transport. For their implementation into electro-mobility sector we need reliable, sustainable and safe chemistries at low cost with reduced dependence on critical raw materials. Although electric vehicles are highly integrated into everyday activities, issues like driving range, price, sustainability, life duration still needs to be further improved. In a set of short presentations and a moderated roundtable the audience will get an insight into the future of batteries research, more precisely: what are the visions, main expectations and potential bottlenecks. Distinguish speakers will be available for questions as well as suggestions from the audience. /

BATTERIES AND THEIR GROWING ROLE IN E-MOBILITYModerator: Mojca Černelč Koprivnikar, Ljubljana, Slovenia / Batteries are becoming more and more an integral part of all means of mobility. How to use batteries in the most efficient way in cars, busses, planes etc.? The invited speakers have the knowledge to face and to overcome these challenges. They will also deal with challenges standing in the way of successful future of e-mobility: how to develop E-vehicles with higher user acceptance and the most needed infrastructure, what is the role of the governments, real life cases etc. /
